About the Programme

Calling Primary Schools in Dublin!

‘The Sensor Inspector is a citizen science programme that empowers five primary schools in the Dublin City area (5-6th class) to monitor local air pollution and traffic, with a view to promoting active travel. The programme will include a four-part workshop series in schools. Students will use air quality and traffic monitoring sensors, identify key environmental problems, and develop creative solutions to address these challenges.

This primary school workshops series will be delivered by the Academy of the Near Future (ANF) team in collaboration to Dublin City Council Active Travel team, focusing on Children’s Movement Through the City project.
