Academy of the Near Future is delighted to invite you to our second 'The Connective Detective' Exhibition on March 6th & 7th, featuring smart city prototypes from the next generation of innovators—and much more!
At the exhibition, you’ll discover in fun ways how telecommunications infrastructure, connectivity, and smart city technologies work and how they are used in Dublin.
What is waiting for you:

  • See smart city prototypes designed by primary school students from the wider area
  • Share your opinion on smart city development in Dublin
  • Explore smart city initiatives in the Docklands
  • Try a VR-Headset and explore a digital twin of the Docklands
  • Build your own smart city prototype
  • Learn about telecommunications and connectivity
  • Find out what sensors are used for and how
  • Discover the evolution of telecommunications

Expect a mix of information and engaging activities! For our younger visitors we'll have many hands-on activities.
