Workshop: The Connective Detective - Build your own smart cities
During the Mid-Term Break on October 31st Academy of the Near Future is organising a free Workshop for families with children between the ages of 9-12 in Pearse Street Library. Join us for an exciting family event where you dive into the fascinating world of smart cities with our interactive workshop, "The Connective Detective - Build Your Own Smart City." This engaging, hands-on experience invites participants to explore the concept of smart cities in a fun and imaginative way. You will discover what makes a city 'smart' and see some real-life examples. Then, using micro:bits, lego and recycling materials, you'll get the opportunity to design and construct your very own smart city element. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult!
