Introduction

MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the Academy of the Near Future Local Authority programme is to upskill local government staffers about new and emerging technologies in cities through a series of in-person workshops.

VISION STATEMENT: The Academy of the Near Future Local Authority programme is leading the initiative in engaging and upskilling local authority staff about smart city technologies. The programme will provide local authority staffers with the skill and knowledge to understand how new and emerging smart technology impacts the urban environment in which they work.
